Meet Amy
Our all-natural, bake-at-home cinnamon buns were lovingly created by Amy Rosen—an award-winning cookbook author, journalist, and television personality.
Amy's cinnamon-scented journey began during a New Year’s Day brunch almost 10 years ago. Several generations of Rosens, a normally boisterous bunch, fell into blissful silence after scarfing down her fresh-from-the-oven cinnamon buns. It was a lightbulb moment. Amy knew she had something special, so she set out to perfect her recipe and create the ultimate bun.

Our Story
“I was trying to make a perfectly balanced cinnamon bun, for people who don’t like things overly sweet or overly buttery, overly goopy or overly glazed,” she says.
Amy opened up Rosen’s Cinnamon Buns, a pretty little bakery selling nothing but buns, in Toronto’s Little Italy neighbourhood. Bun enthusiasts quickly rolled into a loyal fan base with regular lines streaming out the door for her warm, hand-rolled delights. At its peak, the bakery was selling 500 buns each day!
Amy closed the bakery in order to expand and give the public what they were asking for: The ability to bake her buns at home.
Our buns are now available across Canada, so you can enjoy a rich, cinnamony burst at breakfast, brunch, or anytime you feel like adding a bit of spice to your life. Each pack of four frozen Rosen’s Cinnamon Buns comes with our signature vanilla glaze.
Bring Amy’s sweet and sticky buns home, made from all-natural ingredients including butter, cream, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a touch of sea salt. At Rosen’s, we don’t do fake.
Simply defrost overnight, bake, glaze and dive in!
